The maintenance work will target the southbound lane (towards Beirut) of the highway, stretching from Casino du Liban down to the Nahr el Kalb tunnel.<br \/>\nWork Schedule and Peak Traffic Impact<br \/>\nAccording to the ISF statement, the maintenance operations are scheduled to begin at 6:00 AM and will run continuously until 4:00 PM (16:00).<br \/>\nBecause this vital coastal artery consistently experiences heavy traffic volumes\u2014particularly during peak morning commuting hours\u2014the scheduled works are highly expected to cause severe traffic bottlenecks and delays for vehicles heading toward the capital.<br \/>\nISF Guidelines for Commuters:<br \/>\nThe Internal Security Forces urge all motorists to take note of the scheduled times, exercise caution, and strictly adhere to the instructions of traffic officers deployed along the route. Commuters are also advised to closely follow temporary directional traffic signage to facilitate a smooth flow of vehicles and prevent gridlock.<br \/>\nA Critical Transit Route<br \/>\nThis maintenance initiative aims to repair deteriorating road conditions on the primary coastal highway north of Beirut.
