JNews Lebanon has learned that a silent front of resentment and objection is prevailing within the administrations of major private schools in Lebanon, specifically those adopting the French Baccalaureate system.
The objection focuses on the recent decision issued by the Ministry of Education, which set the official “Brevet” exam material to stop at what was covered prior to last March. Meanwhile, students at these private schools have already made advanced academic progress. Administrations consider that forcing students backward undermines academic standards and halts their educational plans.
