Sources close to Jnews Lebanon have learned that a strictly confidential dinner took place last Saturday night, bringing together the ambassador of a prominent European nation and a well-connected Lebanese political mediator.
The ambassador explicitly informed the political figure that “the US-Iranian agreement has been fully finalized. The remaining time frame leading up to Friday is solely intended to solidify frontline positions on the ground.” The diplomat also urged Lebanese factions “not to be dragged into unilateral negotiation adventures.”
