Exclusive JNews Lebanon

Jnews Lebanon has learned from diplomatic sources in the Syrian capital that the new leadership in Damascus, headed by Ahmed al-Sharaa, has directed a firm and unprecedented message to Hezbollah’s leadership in Beirut.
The message came in response to the group’s request for military field coordination in Al-Qusayr and the Qalamoun barrens. Al-Sharaa informed those concerned that “the new Syria will not serve as a launching pad for any military actions, and it will not allow itself to be dragged back into the Lebanese quicksand or regional conflicts.” This Syrian stance has dealt a major shock to the party’s leadership, which is beginning to feel geographically and politically isolated following the collapse of its traditional supply lines.
